Shoe sizes

Every country counts shoe sizes from the length of the shoe, in steps of its own. Measure your foot and read off your size in each system.

UK and US sizes step by a third of an inch, EU sizes by two thirds of a centimetre. JP: the foot length in cm. KR / CN: the foot length in mm. RU / UA: Russia and Ukraine.

Socks

A sock size covers several shoe sizes. US sock sizes give the foot length in inches instead: a 10–13 sock fits a foot of 10 to 13 inches.

How to measure

Foot length: Stand on a sheet of paper, mark the heel and the tip of the longest toe and measure between the marks. Measure both feet in the evening and go by the longer one.

The measurements are a guide: every brand cuts a little differently, and where a brand publishes its own size chart, that is the one to follow.
