Terms of use

This is a translation for your convenience. UnitJuggler is operated from Germany; the German version is the legally binding one.
These terms of use apply to the use of the website unitjuggler.com. By using the website you accept them.
1. The service
UnitJuggler provides a free unit converter. There is no entitlement to continuous availability of the service. We may change, restrict or discontinue it at any time.
2. No professional use
This website is operated for study and information purposes and does not meet the standards required for professional use. In particular, people working in healthcare or engineering must not use the information provided here as the basis of their professional activities.
3. Accuracy of results
Conversions on unitjuggler.com may contain rounding errors and other errors. You must check every result before relying on it. For nearly every unit we link to further information so that you can verify the underlying definitions yourself.
4. Liability
We accept unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence and for damage arising from injury to life, body or health. In cases of ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of agreement. Liability is otherwise excluded. Liability for damage arising from erroneous conversion results or other information on this website is excluded in accordance with the foregoing. Mandatory statutory liability, for example under the German Product Liability Act, remains unaffected.
5. Linking to UnitJuggler
You are expressly permitted to link to UnitJuggler from your website or blog. Deep linking to individual conversion pages is also permitted and welcome. We are glad about every incoming link.
6. Content and copyright
The content of this website is protected by copyright. Downloads and copies are permitted for private, non-commercial use only. Any use beyond this, in particular the systematic extraction of the data or its redistribution, requires our prior written consent.
7. Applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which a user has their habitual residence as a consumer remain unaffected.
8. Provider
This website is provided by Pierre Di Marco. Full details are set out in the legal notice, and information on data processing in the privacy policy.
